Yala Blocks and Entrances
Palatupana is the most famous entrance of the Yala Block 01. Palatupana is the main entrance to entering the Yala National Park and most congested entrance due to Block 1's popularity
This area still remains outstanding for leopard sightings and the much shorter access time and distance is a traffic advantage.
The Galge entrance that offers access to the park’s 3rd and 5th blocks is less known amongst many and therefore you wouldn’t find massive queues unlike the Palatupana entrance.
